You did a wonderful job describing the wide range of experiences growing up and living in this situation. Even without a celebrity element, it is difficult when people use the concept of a passed parent figure to imply what we should or should not do with our life or how we should feel, and it is awful that has been used to even shame you at times. The best gift anyone could give you in the aftermath is validating what you experienced and honor the relationship you had with your dad. His impact on your life cannot be compared to his talent he shared with the world. Hold on to those memories. Thank you for sharing.
